eAdudio Books

Audio Books

EBSCOhost Audio Books (formerly NetLibrary).  You will need to set up a myEBSCOhost account to check out books, store notes, etc.  If you do not have one, you can set one up from home by selecting Sign In and then Create a New Account.  Sign in with your library card, then click on Sign In and create a myEBSCOhost account.  Account setup How To.

You will also need to download the Download Manager.  When you check out your first book, the system will walk you through the process.  Download help

Downloadable Audio Books

OneClick Digital (formerly Recorded Books through NetLibrary) provides downloadable audio books for your PC and iPod.  You will need to set up an account with your library card number.  Window Media Player 10 or up required.  You will need to download One Click Media Manager and iTunes.

OneClick Media Manager download help provides step-by-step instructions whether using Firefox or Internet Explorer or print out instructions attached below.  Watch the download screen to see where it stored the book on your Apple Device.  For example, Music, Playlists.

Safari eBooks

eBooks You Can Open on Your Computer

An electronic reference library for programmers and IT professionals. Type in the subject and add eBook to the Keyword search in the SNAP Catalog (Classic Catalog only) and click on the link at the bottom of the item record.  (This does not work in Internet Explorer or Apple's Safari.)  This will take you to the Safari website and you will need to do the search again.  It may be temporarily down outside of othe library.

eBooks You Can Open on Your Computer

Must set up an account within the library first then you can open the eBooks at home.  Search the Netlibrary website or type in the subject and add eBook to the Keyword search in the SNAP Catalog and click on the link at the bottom of the item record.

Tumblebooks eBooks for Children

TumbleBook Library is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) and TumblePuzzles. 

Watch for chapter books and graphic novels starting April 1, 2011.

Scroll to the bottom of the Kids page and click on the Tumblebooks button.
