Toddler Storytime for 2 and 3 year-olds is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The program is free and no registration is required. Toddlers’ attention spans are short, so expect 20 minutes of simple books, songs, easy fingerplays, and feltboard nursery rhymes. Adults and their toddlers actively participate in this storytime together, so sit close together and help the child follow along. Books suitable for toddlers are available for checkout after the storytime. Come a few minutes early, so the toddler can get a nametag and meet the librarian. Start: 12:30 pm
End: 1:30 pm
Open to intermediate and advanced learners enrolled in the literacy program. Tutors are welcomed and encouraged to accompany their learners. Start: 7:00 pm
End: 8:30 pm
Nancy from Nancy's Bake Shop on First Street will be demonstrating delicious recipes for breakfast. Samples will be available for tasting. This is also a great way to come to an event and check off a square on your Summer Reading Breakfast BINGO card. | ||
