Dear Friends and Neighbors:
It took a community of visionaries, working together, to bring the Benicia Public Library to the success it enjoys today. The Library is 14 years old and has reached its adolescence with help from the city, the state and most importantly the community. The time has come for us to look ahead and plan for the future of our Library.
With the support of the Friends of the Benicia Library and the Benicia Library Board of Trustees, the Benicia Library Foundation was established in 2005 with the express purpose of creating an endowment to ensure the security of the Library’s future. The stream of income from this endowment will be available for major projects and expenditures. It will allow the Library to mature in an innovative and creative manner.
As someone who has supported the Library in the past, you are invited to join us in securing the Library’s future. A substantial contribution to the Foundation from 2006-2010, whether with a one time or yearly gift, will be recognized through inclusion in the Founder’s Gems. The Benicia Library Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Your gift of any amount will be tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Diamond $50,000 and up
Emerald $30,000 to $49,999
Ruby $10,000 to 29,999
Sapphire $5,000 to $9,999
Amethyst $1,000 to $4,999
Pearl $ 100 to $ 999
We envision a Library that increases its value to the community every year with its multifaceted support of education, literacy, and culture for citizens of all ages. We urge you to work with us to make that vision a reality.
