The Benicia Sustainable Economy Series
The Community Sustainability Commission of Benicia, California in collaboration with Dominican University launched the second workshop series. The Benicia Sustainable Economy Workshop Series is targeted toward leaders in Benicia's Commercial/Industrial sectors. The business case for sustainability was highlighted as well as the interdependencies needed for success. Best practices, metrics, policy impacts and advocacy will be addressed. Workshop materials will integrate the stewardship of financial, human and natural capital with an emphasis on systemic approaches to decision-making and understanding complexity throughout all sessions. The objective of the series is to present the concepts, tools, case studies and implementation methodologies to give participants a platform for further action.
